How can i repair my bose wave cd player?

i have a basic split level house. My kitchen and dinning room are at the back of the house and the living room is off of the dinning room in the front of the house. I'm thinking of putting a wave radio in between my dinning room and living room. I would like to connect my Bose Wave Music System to external speakers, with a speaker cable. The Bose Wave has a headphone connector, and no rca inputs, or speaker cable ports. Is there any way to get it connected to my external speakers, through a speaker cable, WITHOUT BUYING A RECEIVER?

Hello all,I was considering purchasing my father a compact stereo system for Christmas. Knowing that his primary application of said stereo would be inside of his ridiculously large garage, I was wondering if any one had experience with the overall volume of these systems.The garage is around 35' x 18'. Also, are there any better options to consider? It doesn't need to be an all in one unit. Are there any quality shelf systems in a similar price range to the Bose Wave and Polk I Sonic?Thank you very much I agree that a receiver and speaker system is most likely a better option. Are there any stereo only receivers that include a CD player and radio tuner and does not include speakers for under $100?I have heard very good things about the M Audio AV 40 speakers and would consider using those to compliment the receiver.Thoughts? How do I make my Bose Wave Radio play the radio instead of the regular "beeping" noise as the alarm?

my friend has a Bose wave system he never uses and I know it works. He wants the money for paintball. Is it worth the 75 I already have a larger system in my room. I know the msrp. I just want to know if they are better things for 75.
